2:30-3:30 Ballistics and Firearm Analysis – Chris Robinson (1 CLE)

This session will cover the basics of ballistics and firearm analysis, such as caliber determination, muzzle-to-target determination, trigger pull, function testing, and ejection pattern analysis. The session will also include a review of cases in which the speaker performed analyses.

3:30-5:00 Intoxilyzer 8000 and Breath Tests – Laura Barfield (1.5 CLEs)

This will include an overview of how this machine works, the training its operator’s are given, and what type of quality control limitations it has. This talk will be useful for the basis of breathalyzer motions in Orange County.
